One of the best parts of being in the advertising industry is themed ads, especially holiday ads! In that spirit, we’ve rounded up some of our all-time favorite holiday ads. Check them out!
Alek’s Pick:
“Despite the growth of new media, for decades families still spend time together looking through the stack of printed sales catalogs, circling Christmas gifts. While other print is overtaken by digital media, families do not want to let go of this nostalgic tradition.”
Beth’s Pick:
“An oldie, but a goodie. I remember seeing this commercial hundreds of times as a kid. It happened to make its way onto a VHS of something we taped from TV, so my family enjoyed it year-round.”
Andy’s Pick:
“Folgers has always been on point when it comes to good creative. This holiday commercial dates clear back to 1988 and it gets you right in the feels. #theressomethinginmyeye”
Dan’s Pick:
“Forever and always, my favorite holiday ad.”
Ross’s Pick:
“Other than the Hershey Kisses playing the bells, my favorite has to be the M&M’s Christmas Commercial. At first I thought it was just a decent ad when it made its debut in 1997, but year after year I found myself looking for it in between shows like a Christmas treasure hunt. And it has also made it into meme culture, so what’s not to love?”
James’ Pick:
It’s not really an ad, but this creative Christmas piece is always a favorite with my kids.
Dave’s Pick:
“I always remember this commercial because it combines one of my favorite things, beer, and something that always makes me laugh, an animal farting.”
